Alternative Investments Update
We take our commitment to minimising investment risk very seriously, and to ensure that our customers have peace of mind we carry out due diligence on our alternative investments. Recently, we have not been able to approve certain investments in the following countries; Ukraine, Bulgaria and Romania. Therefore, the likelihood of investments in these countries being approved are limited and will incur higher costs through the need to take legal advice; even with this approach there is no guarantee that the investment would be approved.
We constantly monitor our alternative investments and will ensure updates are posted to our website. The above countries do not form an exhaustive list but provide an indication of our recent experience.
