Tax Year End Contributions 2010/2011 – IMPORTANT DATES

As the current tax year draws to a close, please take note of the following deadlines for 2010/2011 contributions:

• Friday 11th March – deadline for receipt of in-specie contributions i.e. where you would like to move an asset that you privately own into your SIPP as a contribution (see Fact Sheet 1)
• Tuesday 5th April – deadline for receipt of one-off contributions by BACS/CHAPS and cheque

Please note:

1. Cheques must be payable to Crescent Trustees Limited (any cheque for a contribution that is payable to 'Pointon York' will have to be returned and will risk missing the deadline)
2. If the cheque accompanies an application for a new SIPP, then we must also have a fully completed application pack including the proof of identity and address documents (otherwise this will also have to be returned)
